Tanzania 2016

We are three third year nursing students from Wales and have applied to volunteer nursing in Tanzania, Africa next August for 3 weeks. We will be giving up our own time to put the skills and knowledge that we have achieved so far in our nursing careers to help improve the health and well being of those in Tanzania. We will be working in hospitals, clinics and communities.

This is a self funded trip and all three of us have already started saving for the trip and would hugely appreciate any donations, no matter how big or small. The money that is donated will be going towards buying equipment for the hospitals that we will be working in. Some of these include; gloves, theatre hats and masks, aprons, blankets and clothes for the children.

This is the first time any of us have volunteered abroad and we are all extremely excited to be able to help nurse those less fortunate than us. The trip will give us valuable experience to become the nurses that we want to be when we finish our degree.

Any contribution towards our trip will be greatly appreciated by the three of us and the people that we help in Tanzania. Thank you!
