Tanya’s Time for Help

Hi, my name is Tammy and I am taking this opportunity to ask you to please donate to my sister Tanya Smalley. Tanya was diagnosed with AAA Breast Cancer on Monday 11th August this year and since receiving her news has undergone some Chemotherapy to shrink the tumour before surgery due to its size.... Due to this Tanya has had to stop working which has caused financial hardship & extra worry, Tan & Kev live 1hr from her treatment and have to travel in and out of town for Doctors and treatments. Tanya is due to have a Mastectomy in November and after surgery another 12weeks of Chemo..  Tanya lives in a small community called Ubobo and is always out there helping raise funds, whether it's cooking for the Discovery Centres Dinner Nights, Baking, Making Furniture to Raffle just to name a few for there small town and would never ask for a hand out, she is a Mum of 5 and Nan to 11.. Tan's usual job is part-time Special Needs Teacher Aid (Ubobo School) and is very passionate about it, her kindness and love has helped many, she is a carer to her husband Kevin who has been unable to work for some years now..Tanya's husband was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer and had Surgery and treatment 2011..... thankfully Kev has been clear now for 12months.. Throughout all this she helped keep her husband strong and fighting, she is such a beautiful lady who is always the first to put her hand up to help others.. I am asking for your donations to help Tanya & Kev on this next journey to health and happiness so they can pay extra rent, travel in and out of Gladstone, travel to Brisbane for breast reconstruction next year and just take some pressure of the Financial worry. I understand in times when so many of us have our own financial hardships and worries we tend to hold on to our money, so I'm asking for any amount you can afford and share this with all your friends and family as many hands make light work.
