Hi My name is Christopher and I am a gaming streamer.
I was originally working as a Realtime Analyst under Workforce Department of a BPO Company. Until I decided to pursue my passion for gaming and started streaming.
A guy named JB Teo from Singapore works for Tamago.live talked to me and my friend and asked us to stream 6 hours a day and 90hrs max per month for the rate of $3.50/hr. He made us start streaming on September 22, 2018.
We started streaming asap and we are always asking for our contract but he keeps on telling us "next week" since he is always on a trip. Now months has passed, they haven't paid us even one cent.
Then recently it was announced that Tamago.live is now closing permanently and I was worried since we haven't got any pay and can barely feed ourselves for 3 months. What's worse is that for 3 months I still haven't got my contract.
I messaged Teo about the contract and pay and these are the words he told me: "I cannot promise you that bro since you don't have a contract". Now I was so shocked since I was always sending him a message regarding the contract.
Obviously this wasn't a good start as a streamer but I have loved what I'm doing although the company I chose cannot handle their employees properly.
The total amount of money that wasn't given to us is worth 65,000 PHP ($1228)(351 hours for streaming) I even owed some money for my very own gaming PC worth PHP 50,000 ($1,000) thinking I can pay for it as soon as I receive my pay in Tamago. Will attach the photos of our conversations and Teo's image.
