So I have this blog. And this immense longing to succeed, succeed in all the dreams I’m dreaming.
During the past 3 months that I’ve spend in New York City (October till December 2018), I convinced myself of one thing.
If the dreams you’re dreaming don’t frighting you, then you’re not dreaming big enough.
Nothing is impossible, but you must have the f#cking courage to work hard for it.
To dare. To invest. To be patient. Continuing whatever it is that you’re doing and know that change can be found outside the familiar inner ring of comfort inside your head.
Each individual has their own story, their own book in the making.
Written in different types of fonts, highlighted by plot changes you never thought possible.
But sometimes it takes time to surround yourself with people who are just as determined to succeed, the vital key in self belief.
I noticed that my inner circle got smaller once I stepped out of my own comfort zone, while hungry to gain knowledge.
Not everyone you grow up with will understand your vision.
But you can’t slow down because someone else can’t keep up with your ideas, your goals, your lifestyle.
I’m sure I am not the only one who fell for this, thought about giving up even.
I want to create that safety net. Ensure that every person who crosses his or her path with mine continues to believe in their dreams and connect people with each other. Individuals whom might not connect as easily in real life, simply pass each other in the streets.
Not because a religion or culture divides them. But because you can’t always tell from the outside what drives someone in their everyday life, what their ambitions are.
I stayed a heavy believer, as I never stopped believing in myself.
And you should too.
We live in a time of social media, that’s how we got in touch.
But how awesome would it be to have a platform where we can find the most diverse blogs.
Written by the ‘cool kids’ from all over the world, who are no professional bloggers nor journalists.
All written from the heart, real talk, real shit.
Everyone is an artist in his or her existence,
colouring their canvas with the art of kindness and passion for life.
No border should be a burden to disconnect shared interests.
Through writing I've learned to tell my story. And I want to give others a voice for theirs. Until the day comes, where sponsorships and collaborations work out, I have pay for everything myself. To edit, to photoshop, to pay the bills to keep the blog up and running as it is.
Every euro that's raised through GoFundMe, goes straight to the investment that is my blog, my vision and continuing to create a platform for those who have something to share.
Thank you, foremost, for taking the time (our most precious possession in life) to read my introduction. May you have a beautiful day, even when it's raining.
