A little girl in my area was kidnapped and raped for 3 days by several men. By a miracle, she was found in the backseat of the traffickers vehicle,. She was on the way to an air strip that was scheduled to take her to Texas. She's been sold to a man in Texas.
The news focused on the miracle of finding her, not how the traffickers targeted her, where they took her or how the network operated to sell her.
In order to understand the methods that traffickers use, law enforcement, traffickers and victims need to be interviewed. Only they have the information that can save a child's innocence and, ultimately, their life.
I want to educate parents, teenagers and children on how to spot a trafficker, what methods traffickers use and how to protect themselves.
