Campaign Story
My name is Pre-Eminence Nkomo. I am a second year BA General student wanting to major in psychology. I am extremely passionate about issues relating to women and children. I strongly believe in taking a stand and trying to implement changes in the world.
I have been given the amazing opportunity to be one of the delegates for the second Bali Asia International Model United Nations, which is a simulation of an actual United Nations Conference. During this conference, participants are tasked with solving a real-life global issue, each council gets a different issue to solve.
My council, the United Nations Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF), has been tasked with trying to understand how diverse culture sensibilities and different stages of development affect poverty cycles and adolescents.I cant wait to engage with other participants on this topic as I believe that focusing on better children and ensuring that they have access to all they need will be beneficial not only their development but to the nation as a whole because if the children are well taken care of poverty levels will decrease.
Your contribution will be greatly appreciated as not only will it allow me to grow and learn more as a person but it'll award me the opportunity to go contribute in making changes in our society.
