Take action for Bessa; Help Bessa

This is a story about love between a human and his dog, in this particular case my Bessa and me. Therefore, it's an even bigger request for help and compassion. First, I would like to tell you something about her. She, that wonderful, lovely, hairy creature is an eleven month old Newfoundland. She is exceedingly happy, but at the same time, so timid, and even more goofy and always grateful beyond belief for every new day. She is a dog that will always keep an eye on you, and if you unintentionally walk away from her, even a little, she will come running and will be asking for forgiveness, even if she did nothing wrong. She will be extremely sad when you are leaving her, she will stick to the floor, and do the most sad faces ever, and will, of course, pout and be angry at you for leaving her, but as soon as she sees you again, she will be the happiest dog ever. She will rub against you as much as possible, and leave a bunch of hair and drool all over you, so you wouldn't stop thinking of her even for a moment. She asks a LOT, she requires a bunch of love and affection, but she will give you back even more.

Now here comes the part about the compassion and help for which I am asking with all of my hearth and soul because I unfortunately can't do it alone. A few days ago Bessa was diagnosed with hip dysplasia. The worst type of it. She no longer can run or be free. Actually, she can't walk, even for 15 minutes, without taking a break, because of the pain she is in. The operation she needs would replace her bad hip with a new one. After that surgery, and of course physical therapy and all of the guidelines we would get from the doctors, she will be once again a healthy dog, probably the happiest dog in the world. The operation itself cost from 3 to 4 thousand Euros, and nobody in Croatia is doing it. At the moment she is on pain pills and vitamins for her bones and joints as a supplement to her regular food, but unfortunately there is no permanent help this way. We were recommended clinics in Italy and Slovenia. We all know that most people are not standing so well financially, especially with a sum this high. I can't do this alone. I'm asking anyone who has good will, and is willing, even if only to give us advice, to help us. If I don't help her now, her hips will degrade with time, and then she will not be able to walk anymore. Except for surgery, there is no second option, because her condition is too bad. The only good thing in this whole situation is that only one hip has dysplasia that advanced, and chances for a full recovery are really well. Some people have already suggested me to put her to sleep, but that is not an option for me. She is too young, and too happy, and most of all to loved for that. She means the world to me, and even more than that! Before she came I lost, in a very painful way, my beloved fluff, because somebody poisoned him. I can't lose her too, especially not this early.

The amount we need is big, and my financial status is not so great at the moment, so I wouldn't be able to pay for the surgery for a while, and she needs it as soon as possible. Even the smallest donation is a big help.
