Thank you for your ongoing support! As we close this funding campaign, we invite you to celebrate the huge difference you have helped create!

Take a look at Tahaddi's 2020 Overview Video ad see how far your support has taken us!

Over the past few months, Tahaddi has been able to help nearly 1000 families receive needed health care, relief aid, and psychosocial support. Our education program has developed a new teaching model that incorporates both onsite and remote learning! This has enabled us to keep kids learning and also to expand the number of out-of-school children we can reach! This year we have 359 enrolled at the Tahaddi Education center – our highest number ever!

Lebanon Amid Multiple Crises

Since mid- 2019, Lebanon has been facing an unprecedented economic crisis. Many workers have lost their jobs while the cost of living is soaring as a result of rapid inflation. The COVID-19 outbreak adds yet another alarming dimension to this already very challenging situation. Now, with the recent explosion in Beirut on August 4th, 2020, Lebanon is in the midst of despair. The poorest families are most at-risk.

Tahaddi is working amidst this crisis to provide urgent medical services and emergency assistance for food and rent. Please join us in supporting these families by donating to our Emergency Cash Assistance Fund. 100% of your support will go to beneficiaries.

Who We Are

Tahaddi is a Lebanese non-governmental organization (registration # 1578), which offers holistic support to families facing extreme economic hardship by providing education, health and psychosocial services.

Tahaddi's centers are located in the impoverished informal settlement of Hay el Gharbeh, which is in Southern Beirut. Our programs prioritize vulnerable Lebanese families, including members of the Dom ethnic minority, as well as Syrian refugees, migrants, and other stateless populations irrespective of nationality, religion, or social background.
