TagTht – Connecting Everyone

My name is James Connell and I want to create a place where its easy to meet new people who share you interests. A place where like minded people are able to meet and talk about their hobbies, their passions, their opinions and share the things that are really important to them.

The idea came to me shortly after I moved to London, from my home city of Manchester. I wanted to meet new people but found it difficult to know where to start. I began thinking to myself “wouldn't it be great if there was a place I could easily get to know people who share my interests in this area.” During the following months I developed this idea into a potential new social media platform – TagTht.

Current social media platforms tend to be based around who you are friends with or who you follow, and I think this makes it difficult to really grow you circle of friends and meet new people. TagTht aims to do things differently.

TagTht will allow you to view post from other people based on what you are interested in. This platform will give you the opportunity to meet people just like you, who you would never even know existed. I truly believe the world is full of friends we simply haven't been able to meet yet. I just want to make it easier for these people to find each other.

This is still an early stage idea. I have acquired a domain name, potential hosting solutions when required and I have planed the design of the website and exactly how all it's features will work. I just need your help turning my vision into a reality.

My target is to raise £4,000. This is to allow me to bring in expert assistance to help with the actual coding and programming of what will be a bespoke and complex website, as well as testing that everything works in the way I have imagined. All other expenses (domain and hosting cost) I will cover myself.
