Syrian Families in Lebanon

Today I found out that one of my friends, a Syrian woman who I worked with in Lebanon, is considering marrying her 13 year old daughter to somebody so that she doesn't have to feed her anymore. They haven't paid their $70 rent in three months and she is desperate. I worked with Syrian families in Lebanon that were in a bad situation when Lebanon was doing well. I have always felt helpless in the face of what they deal with everyday. So I am doing a fundraiser for them - this woman and others in a similar situation. At the moment, I have six families who I plan to help, if I can get the money together. I will send as much as I can myself but I would massively appreciate your help - the more I raise, the longer they can feel some semblance of safety and the more families I can include in the support. A euro goes a long way in Lebanon at the moment so even if you give something small, it means a lot to the families.
