Campaign Story
Suzuki Samurai is a cute tiny car designed more as a beach vehicle than a real offroad. But it has proven over the decades to have a strong heart and good offroad skills. The community of Samurai lovers numbers hundreds of thousands around the globe now. Ollie Rouckova who is the first Czech lady on Rally Dakar (2x till now) decided to revive wreck of an old Samurai, rebuilt it to racing car and bring it to Rally Dakar to make all Samurai lovers happy to watch this project. She, her co-pilot Robert Knobloch and their team and friends spent the whole year to work on it. They invested 20.000 EUR in renovation of the car, paid 46.000 EUR for Dakar entry fees. Now the Samurai in on it´s way from Marseille to Rally Dakar venue in Saudi Arabia. Due the hard Covid times the team run out of money but they still need some 6.000 EUR more to pay flight tickets, accommodation costs in Saudi Arabia and Samurai transportation costs from Marseille to Prague after the Rally Dakar. If you are also the Samurai lover you can help them to finish the dream.
