Sustainability Dissertation Presentation in Dublin, Ireland

My name is John Grewar, I am 25 years old and am an ex student of Nelson Mandela University. I was privileged enough to have my research paper titled " The uptake of water-efficient measures by Middle- and Upper-income households in Nelson Mandela Bay" selected by the Leeds Becket University to be a part of the 2018 Sustainable Ecological and Engineering Design for Society (SEEDS) Conference that will be taking place in Dublin, Ireland on the 6th and 7th of September.

As South Africa is already a water scarce country and one of the 30 driest countries in the world, it is research that is extremely important and, is being continued into a doctorate by my ex-supervisor whereby she plans to increase the data and gain a greater understanding of South African water saving habits. This is an exploratory study and is the first of its kind in South Africa and contains data for a very limited, yet extremely important niche, Worldwide.

Sustainability is a passion that lies close to my heart and one I would like to learn more about so that I can help reduce the damaging effects we are having on the planet and our fellow man.

I am looking to get funding to aid me in travelling to Dublin for the presentation as I cannot currently afford to fund the trip myself and am unable to ask Nelson Mandela University for funding as I am no longer a student.

My expenses consist of flights, accommodation, tickets to the conference, meals and travel expenses in Dublin.

I would like to acquire as much funding as I can by the 20th of August 2018 as this will allow me sufficient time to purchase and organise air tickets, accommodation, etc.

For those of you that do fund me in anyway, be it big or small, I really appreciate it and I hope that in me travelling to Dublin to be part of this prestigious global event, I am able to network with the right people and water conservation is considered on an even greater scale than just in the small municipality of Nelson Mandela Bay.
