Campaign Story
The Cikananga Wildlife Centre (PPSC) is a multi-species rescue and conservation NGO, located on the island of Java, Indonesia. PPSC provides housing and effective release and breeding programs for animals specific to Indonesia. Additionally, approximately 20% of the centre’s animal population is critically endangered and endangered according to the IUCN Red List. To support the conservation efforts of PPSC several sustainability projects have been created.
The projects include, a composting system designed to transform the centres organic waste into compost, a tree nursery created to house and acclimatize tree saplings and a small-scale organic farm.
Currently, the organic farm is producing safe and nutritious food on-site for the animals of PPSC. To date, the farm has produced 238 Kg of organic nutritious food as of June 2020, supporting our keepers in taking care of the centre’s animal population.
The purpose of this fundraiser is to secure the stability of PPSC sustainability projects, principally the small-scale organic farm for the year 2021. The money raised will be used to purchase supplies, tool maintenance and to pay local employee wages.
We are critically aware how difficult this year has been and truly appreciate any support you are willing to give.
Thank you.

Good luck to the wonderful Cikananga Wildlife Center! It's so fabulous to see you growing your own food and composing onsite. You do so much with so little - such an inspirational place.
