Surviving College

With a lot of hard work and sleepless nights, I am now in my 4th year of surviving college. I am currently taking BS Psychology in one of the prestigious schools in the Philippines. To afford the tuition fee, I have managed to get a discount on my tuition fee by being a student-athlete. However, even with a scholarship, it is still difficult for us to pay for the remaining expenses and cannot afford to buy the resources I need that would help me maximize my potentials. Now that I’m an incoming 4th year college student, the demands of my program are rising, as well as the paper works. My 7-year old laptop already retired :( and so I hope that with the amount gathered, I could buy myself a brand new laptop and pay for the books I would need for my last 2 semesters in college.

My parents are both healthy and hard-working, but I do not want to burden them with more expenses because they are supporting the seven of us - dad, mom, me, my 3 siblings, and my dad's sister (who had stroke in 2016 and her medical expenses are supported by my dad) - to survive.

I only have one more year left in college, and after I graduate, I promise to pay-it-forward all the help I got from everyone of you.
