Survive Life and Livelihood

I am Suvashis Biswas writing from India. I am by birth Bangladeshi. Bangladesh is my homeland. But I am refugee now and living in India to be bound. We have come here by flying away for various communal and political reasons. We are Hindu. I was passing my life in Bangladesh by running self-employed business. I have few partners there in my business. The partners of my business forcely captured my business and being bound us to fly away here in India. If we didn’t come in India, they murdered us and rapped my wife and mother. One night they fired our house while we are sleeping and threatened us to fly away. So we flied away and started to live in India as a thief. We prayed to the Indian government for our citizenship. But yet we have not gotten it. So we have to suffer here many problems. I and my wife have post graduate degree of Bangladesh. Those are only valueless papers now. We can’t do any job by those.yes,we have a chance to sell labour or starting a self small business. So, I started my life as a railway hawker. In my family, l myself, my wife, our baby, parent and grandma. We have no child of our own. We have taken an orphan. He is now two years old. My grandma is 90 years old and my parents are about to 70.They have diabetes and many others health problems. I have to maintain all these things by my single handed little income. We live in a rented house of a railway slum. Three are no electricity, no gas connection. We have to cook our food by wooden fuel or coal buying from the market. But COVID-19 and Cyclone Amphan, one of the worst storms to have formed over the Bay of Bengal in recent years, ruined all these efforts. I can’t bear all these expenditure. The days are going to out of control. I can’t pay house rent, can’t buy food and medicine and even my baby milk.. We are now workless, moneyless, homeless and even foodless. We have to pass the days by depending on the relief. But that is not available. We are passing to take a meal throughout whole the day or sometime being starvation.. Besides these the slum house owner has already given us threat to leave the home for not paying the rent. In this condition, I need urgent help about twenty five thousand dollars (25000) for buying medicine, taking treatment to the older parents and grandma, for food and housing.

So, I beg all the honourable Donner to spot our problems swiftly, take decision quickly and take action immediately to donate me. Otherwise we have to suicide or dying for starvation.
