The medical war on Covid-19 is crushing small businesses in the party and entertainment industry that have been focused on providing happiness and memories for you and your families on special occasions.

My name is Minisha Nathoo and I am the owner of a family business called All Occasions party shop in Durban, Kwa-Zulu Natal. Myself and my staff are supportive of the Covid-19 measures put in place by Government to flatten the curve and we are doing our part to get through this epidemic. However, like most of the businesses we are struggling to survive the Covid-19 measures. The nature of business is directly impacted by social distancing and therefore do not know what the near future will hold for us.

About our business:

20 years ago my Dad's dream was to open a one stop shop to cater for all family functions. His idea was to be apart of family occasions by providing all products under one roof thereby removing any stress from our customer.

It took a lot of experimenting with the types of products to be sold .

Eventually the end result was that we were able to deliver a store that has all products for theme parties / packaging / deco / costumes / balloons / helium / Centre pieces / serviettes and not forgetting all your baking requirements to complete your shopping.

All Occasions is a store that has worked its way up to being the best 1 Stop party shop in town with your help. A store for All Occasions - bringing people together and making it a memorable event.

Our commitment:

We are doing our very best to remain operational post the Covid-19 lock down and provide you, our customers, with our sustainable commitment in making special occasions memorable for you and your family. My staff and I humbly request you to assist us in raising money to enable our business continuity. Any contribution is valuable to us. The money will be used for staff salaries ,paying creditors, payment of rent and other overhead expenses.
