Hi guys,

Sias is gonna celebrate his 41st birthday on 3rd of October at Made in Brasil Boteco in Camden Town. Everyone is invited of course! :-) I created this little 'fundraising' page for a birthday surprise for him :-)))

As most of you probably know Sias, also known as Dj Siclano and Ronald Pablo Menses Silva, has been battlening lymphoma cancer for the past year. He found out about the disease on two weeks before his 40th birthday a year ago.

He just finished chemotherapy treatment which he supported with unconventional 'natural' treatment. A lot of people and friends supported him along the way by donating and taking part in the amazing auction at Made in Brasil in June. It was a truly beautiful experience and it made Sias extremely happy. Thank you all for the support so far.

Lately Sias has been committing to daily meditation by attending sessions at the London Buddhist Centre in Bethnal Green. He mentioned to me he would love to go to one of their retreats (details below):

The retreat costs £160 and the return minibus is another £40 - that equals £200.

An idea popped into my head to try and raise money to book him on the retreat and let him know about it at the party on the 3rd of October at MIB Boteco. If we manage to raise more than £200 than I would also like to buy him a mini trampoline which costs around £80 - it's amazing for the lymphatic system - that's why I set the amount to £300.

I know many of you helped a lot already and we greatly appreciate it that's why I would like to say there is no pressure on donating again. I totally understand it and actually wasn't sure whether I should ask people for more money. But than I thought it doesn't have to be big, it's only a symbolic donation instead of buying a birthday drink so if 40 people donated £5 each than we would have the amount for the retreat which is the priority.The trampoline would be an additional thing.

I think it will be a real great present for him and I know he would appreciate the whole surprise greatly. Especially that the retreat would happen on two weeks before he goes back to the hospital for his final check up. Fingers crossed!

Again, I would like to say that we greatly appreciate all of the help Sias received already and there is no pressure on donating again.

But if you were thinking about getting a birthday gift/ birthday drink for him and you like the idea than we could do it together ;-) Every penny counts!

We only have about 10 days so we've got to be quick.
