Surgey for Baby Zeus(cochlear implant surgery) please let him hear

I am Venus Celin, From Dipolog City, Philippines. I am the mother of a three years old boy whose name Zeus Ryle. I name him “ZEUS” because he's strong and fighter baby since he was born. Zeus was delivered through Emergency CS, Zeus was born with CONGENITAL RUBELLA SYNDROME(CRS) is an illness of an infants that results maternal infection with rubella virus during pregnancy, the classic triad defects to the baby caused by rubella are;eye abnormalities, congenital heart disease and sensorineural deafness, out of three he got two defects the CONGENITAL HEART DISEASES AND PROFOUND HEARING LOSS.

We as a parents we want to ensure that Zeus will have a normal life,we never stop looking for anyways and means to have him an immediate heart surgery and luckily, through referrals from the doctors and welfare agencies, the surgery was succesfuly done sponsored by the Rotary Club of Cebu West.

After his heart recovery, we are starting and facing again a new challenge to find ways the treatment of Zeus hearing impairment. the only way to recover his hearing is to have a COCHLEAR IMPLANT SURGERY , which is here in our country it cost a million pesos in one ear,including the device, hospitalization, professional fee and therapy.

The challenge of funding in this process is something that we are willing tackle no matter how difficult it is, coz as a parent no more anything difficult in this world than to see your three year old child got bullied and rejected with the other kids in our community because of the reason that he can not talk and hear.

We can not deny that there are times that we can not understand each other especially when he is in pain or sick. We are very much eager to have him operated as soon as possible before the virus eat all the cochlea, and the chance of him to hear will be lost. .

The cost incurred to have this surgery is very heavy burden, especially in our situation that our source of income is just enough for our daily needs.

This is why we are hoping that we are able to ask a financial support and assistance and will be grateful to those people who are able to help us provide the best life we can for Zeus, and for one day Zeus be able to say "Thank You" in speech for what you have given to him.
