Surgery needed

I am in need of surgery and can not afford it . The waiting list at the public Hospital is 22 years.. All your help and support will be appreciated

I am 53 years old and transgender from South Africa with extreme conservative family and nation. I was sent to counsellers from age 6. I was actually submitted to a mental hospital and did receive shock treatment in the early 90's....I was beaten up on street and mostly live life being rejected. At the age of 53 I now also lost my job and home and everything I had and now living with family again.

I would love to change gender to be able to live the 2nd half of my life to the fullest. Surgery to change gender is not that commin in South Africa and very expensive if you found someone willing and able. - I don't have any money......Public hospital in Cape Town (2000 Km) away does do SRS with lots of pre-requisites and a wating list of 25 years.

My only hope is sponsors and all the necessary surgery in another country. My dream would be to find work and a place I can call home as the woman I actually am.
