Surgery funding for my hip, knees and ankles joint replacements.

My name is Mokgadi G Letsoalo, I am 30 years old living in Alexandra, the north east of Johannesburg in South Africa. I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid arthritis 12 years ago and developed Osteoarthritis through out the years. I have had my right hip replaced 7 years ago . The freedom to walk didn’t last long until my knees started wearing out as well. My knees have been weak for over 5 years and now they have given up on carrying my body. As a result, my ankles got affected from carrying my body weight without the help of my knees. The pressure went on to affect my left hip.

I currently cannot walk or use a walking stick. Both my legs are forever in pain and disabled. I can’t stand nor step on them. To replace the ruined joints on my hip, knees and ankles is super expensive. I am unemployed due to my physical disability, my family takes care of my day to day living. I cannot afford health insurance/medical aid, I rely on a public hospital clinic that hardly provide working solutions for my condition or give me the attention my body needs.

the surgery would cost R150 000 on average per joint replacement, and I need 5 joints replaced. Any amount of money donated will be highly appreciated and bring me closer to walking again and fulfilling my dream to own a luxury clothing boutique, fashion magazine and a coffee shop in one building. I have an honours degree in Journalism and a Diploma in clothing construction(fashion design). I love writing, I live for fashion and I put together the most delicious meals. However arthritis is standing on my way to fulfilling those dreams. Please help me.🙏🏾
