Surgery for my mother.

Hello everyone! My name is Fivchuk Emiliia, I'm from small city Kitsman in Ukraine, Chernivtsi region. I'm here to ask you about help for my mother, Fivchuk Nadiya. She was born in 17.03.1956. She needs surgery on her brain, she has big tumor in her head (it's not the only one, one more she has in her breasts).

My mother is honourable donor of Ukraine, she is working as a nurse of transfusiology department in our local hospital for 46 years. She saved few people's lives in her whole life. When people were dying at intensive therapy department, and they needed straight blood transfusion urgently, because they didn't have other choice - she was the one, who agreed to do this, - to help them, by what she saved those lives. She always loved her job, but her life has changed since we found out about tumor in her head (and 2 years later about another one in breasts).

In 2014 my mom had attack, which looked like as an epilepsy fit, it was awful. We were sent by doctor to make MRI of brain. And since then we found out about tumor in head (on that time it was already big enough, but we didn't know about it, because my mom's head never "bothered" her before, tumor was just getting bigger with years, but it "shown" itself only in 2014 for the first time). It was a very great shock for all our family, but we didn't give up, and started treatment. But this treatment was only restraining those attacks she had.

All these years we were trying to not even start this talk about surgery thing, because we were really scared of this. We were hoping, that mom's condition won't get worse, mom was just taking her medicines. But lately her medicines stopped to work, it stopped restrain her attacks. So, due to increased incidence of these attacks, my mother is not able to work anymore, to live normal life. She is forgetting things, she is mixing words, or telling totally different things. And I'm really scared. I really want to help, my heart bleeds for her, when I see her suffering from those damned diseases...

We found good and qualified neurosurgeon in Romodanov Neurosurgery Institute, which is situated in Kyiv (capital of Ukraine). So, the second problem now is to gather money for this surgery. This doctor told us, it will be needed to get at least 50000 uah (ukrainian money), a bit less than 2000$, for this.
