Who we are

The Philippine Pet Birth Control Center (PPBCC) Foundation is dedicated to ERADICATE RABIES by controlling animal population thru the most humane way: NEUTERING. We try our best to reach out to every city and province in the Philippines to help control the dog and cat population.

Why we are doing this?

We want the Philippines to be a "Stray Dog and Cat Friendly" country, but with the current RABIES THREAT that is impossible. We are also fighting against the ongoing animal abuse of stray & neglected animals, these are the reports that animal welfare groups face everyday. As the years go by we had witness the worsening condition of the stray animals in the Philippines. There is an underlying problem that is not currently address to solve the situation, it is the growing population of dogs & cats in the country. And it can only be solved with neutering and providing information about responsible pet ownership.

We aim to control the dog and cat population by NEUTERING, stop rabies and stop animal abuse.

What else do we do?

Philippine Pet Birth Control Center have been offering the lowest neutering services in the country, our team can neuter as much as 200 cats & dogs in a day. We want to make neutering affordable especially to the indigent pet owners, thus we have done numerous free & sponsored neutering services project. It has always been our aim to lessen animal abuse and abandonment by controlling the dog and cat population through sterilization.

We also educate pet owners on how to basically take care of their dogs and cats. We won't just NEUTER. We will be providing collars and leash and also do medical mission in each areas we visit.

How do we fund our projects?

Through a few generous individuals who support us and believe that “NEUTERING IS NOT AN OPTION, IT IS THE SOLUTION,” we are able to continue our advocacy. We are also doing fundraising events and online fundraising like this.

Where does your support goes?

Every support goes directly to our work, every neuter mission, campaign and the establishment of our neuter clinic. Each of it takes us closer to our dream of a rabies-free and stray-free Philippines.

Our Work

Outreach Missions

An outreach mission is when we go out of town to give free neuter services in the community, these are usually coordinated with the local government unit and animal welfare groups. If our funding allows it, we are able to neuter 200-300 pet in each event. A lot of places ask for our assistance to provide free neutering but due to our limited funds, we cannot comply on them all.

Trap Neuter Vaccinate Return

We are also promoting TNVR massively through out the country, this program has been proven effective in other countries to lessen the pet population hence the animal abuse, neglect and cruelty. TNVR is effective, efficient and a long term solution for the growing problem of the stray animal population.

Neuter Clinic

The neuter clinics will be put up in different areas to provide low-cost and free neutering. We are aiming to put one in each region of the Philppines. And it will cost us about $20,000-30,000 to construct one. Our main neuter clinic is still onhold because we lacked funds to finish it.

WE ARE MAKING A CHANGE IN COMPANION ANIMAL WELFARE

Every dog and cat that we neuter means saving their lives and what does it mean? A CHANCE TO HAVE A BETTER QUALITY OF LIFE. It means less animal to rescue, it means less animals to vaccinate against rabies and most importantly SHORTER PERIOD OF TIME TO ERADICATE RABIES.

Your help will go a long way, towards awareness of the need to neuter our dogs and cats for a better quality of life, and lesser risk of rabies.

Thank you in advance for all your support.
