Erin’s Volunteer Trip to Africa

It's been my dream since I was young to go to Africa and help improve the quality of life over there. Seems weirdly specific, so you can imagine my overwhelming joy when I heard my school was organising a mission trip to Kampala, Uganda, which will be in October 2017! The opportunity will be for 10 days and we will be working hard both outside in the trenches and inside in an orphanage. It will be an intense 10 days, but I am not wanting to go for a vacation. I am ready to work hard and hopefully change the lives of many individuals, including myself. There's only one problem: I'm broke! I have been in the unlucky pool of teenagers desperately searching for a local job but just hasn't been successful. And I will continue to look. Now here's where you come in. The cost of the trip all up including airfares, passports, VISAs, accommodation and every other little detail is about $3,000. As much as that sounds, I am remaining positive and hopeful that my dream to go to Africa and change lives will be fulfilled. Any donation, whether that be $5 or $500, will be MUCHLY appreciated.
