Supporting Women’s Education in Nepal

Hi Generous Souls,

My name is Rania Hoteit and I am fundraising to support Women's Education initiatives in Nepal!

Aside from the significant donations my company is making to local NGOs, I am inviting all of you to join me in GIVING the Gift of Education to underserved women in Nepal during this holiday season! The additional $25,000 I'm fundraising will be used for the purchase and distribution of tools, equipments, books, devices, and other educational materials that are critical for the deployment and management of our women's educational programs.

In addition to my partnerships with local NGOs as a donor, I will be actively participating with IHVQ's program as an educator and mentor to provide women aged between 16-55 with a Grade 10 equivalent education along with technology skills that can help them to become qualified for new job opportunities. For four full weeks, I will be personally volunteering at an educational center in Kathmandu and offering lessons, talks and workshops to Nepalese women who missed out on a decent education when they were younger.

My tasks include helping women to learn the national level curriculum with use of the same textbooks used by children in schools. I will also be running gender equality, women empowerment and leadership workshops. Additionally, there is scope to teach the women how to use devices, applications, and other technologies to further develop their technical knowledge.

My aim is to make a positive change and empower disadvantaged Nepalese women by providing them with skills and motivation that can improve their lives and help them integrate in today's technological economy.
