Supporting the Syrain Refugees in Jordan

The scale of Syria’s humanitarian crisis is devastating ,11 million people, half of the country’s pre-war population, have been forced from their homes and 250,000 have died since the war began in 2011. Making it one of the worst humanitarian crisis of our lifetime.

As of today,the war in Syria has left 4.9 refugees in neighbouring countries such as Jordan ,Turkey , and Lebenon a further 6.3 million internally displaced who fully rely on humanitarian assistance and whose lives have been distorted and damaged by the brutal war, which approaches now its tragic sixth year .

In Jordan alone there are over 726,000 registered refugees living in Jordan, mostly from Syria. 93% of Syrian refugees in Jordan live on less than $96 per month. Syrians are estimated to comprise 13% of the overall population in Jordan — a significant percentage anywhere, but especially in a country of fewer than 10 million people.

It is difficult after knowing about all their suffering and not be moved to act and help. .Money collected will help the in getting humanitarian essentials such as food and clothing

· $11 can provide a family of 6 with a month’s supply of bread

· $30 can help give 50 families access to clean water

· $75 helps provide two refugees with an emergency food kit containing bread, spices, oil, meat and vegetables

· $210 provides an emergency kit for a Syrian family that includes blankets, hygiene supplies, water and cooking tools

As I live in Jordan , doesn’t need to spent traveling to Jordan ,acommadation , food etc etc . I hope you consider making a contribution towards this cause .Every dollar we contribute can help these brave families and children get their basic living needs . It is also lets them know that there are people around the world who care about them .All they are searching for is a touch of hope in their damaged lives when their future remains uncertain.
