Supporting people battling Alzheimer’s disease

Αυτό το Σάββατο θα λάβω μέρος στο Asgata Ultra, συμμετέχοντας στον αγώνα 5Κ στη μνήμη του αγαπημένου μου παππού, Μάκη Χρίστου. Στο πλαίσιο αυτού του αγώνα, θα συγκεντρώσω χρήματα για το ίδρυμα Ιθάκη, ένα ίδρυμα που βοηθά και υποστηρίζει άτομα που πάσχουν από άνοια.

Οι άνθρωποι που παλεύουν με τη νόσο Αλτσχάιμερ (μια μορφή άνοιας) χρειάζονται όλη την υποστήριξη που μπορούν να λάβουν καθώς είναι μια ασθένεια για την οποία ακόμα δεν γνωρίζουμε αρκετά. Απαιτούνται επίσης κεφάλαια για τη συνεχιζόμενη έρευνα που στοχεύει στην κατανόηση και την πρόληψη αυτής της νόσου.

Είναι ένας σκοπός που είναι πολύ κοντά στην καρδιά μου. Οποιαδήποτε συνεισφορά θα εκτιμηθεί παρά πολύ. 💚

This Saturday I will be taking part in the Asgata Ultra, competing in the 5K race to celebrate and remember my late grandfather Makis Christou. As part of this tribute, I will be raising money for the Ithaki foundation, a foundation that helps and supports people suffering with dementia.

People battling Alzheimer's disease (a form of dementia) need all the support they can get as it is still a disease we don't know enough about. Funds are also required for the ongoing research that aims to understand and prevent this disease.

This is a cause that is very close to my heart. Any contribution would be much appreciated 💜
