Supporting Evolving Education

Hi, I’m Luz, the founder of Evolving Education. This adventure began when I started teaching. The training that I received seemed insufficient to guide the next generations to create a sustainable future and have a fulfilling life. So I decided to design my own learning journey: traveling around the world and learning from the most innovative education centers. Learning to learn.

Now we are sharing these learnings to transform education.

Our Vision

Education is the key to change the world. We believe in a world where schools are not a mirror of how society is, but how it could be.

Our Mission

Democratize educational practices that empower learners to take responsibility for their own learning so that they can take control of their lives, facilitating dialogues rich in diverse perspectives and the creation of communities.

How we do it

We share proven practices developed in some of the most innovative learning centers in the world and in most cases executed with few resources, which ensures their inclusiveness. We have already collected experiences from +100 educators, parents and learners from 6 to more than 60 years old, representing more than 15 countries.

We are developing the documentary film Killing Curiosity, to raise awareness about the scale of the problem and the availability of solutions in education. It will be available by end of the year.

Are schools killing curiosity?

Luz, a teacher dissatisfied with the educational system, sets out on a journey to discover what the most innovative schools have in common. What she discovers will change forever her view of education.

Travel, education and a quest for purpose collide in this adventure around the world questioning not only how we learn, but how we live.

We are developing the virtual learning experience “Learning Expedition” to discover the keys to motivation and how to guide self-directed learners on a virtual journey through the most innovative educational centers in the world. We will provide tools and a support community to empower educators to change the system from within.
