Supporting children in need in cambodia

Hello, my name is Christina and I am embarking on the 27th April for Cambodia to volunteer for 2 weeks on the childcare project.

It has always been my dream to go and help children in need and the dream has now become a reality.



Many children in Cambodia have lost their parents, while others can not afford to provide their children with food, accommodation or an education. As a result many children live in residential care homes or attend childcare centres during the day while their parents are at work.



I will be volunteering in a residential care home looking after children from 2 to 6 years old. The childcare work ranges from administration, cooking, cleaning, feeding, caring for children, to teaching, assisting with homework and arranging activities.



During my stay in Cambodia I will be working for 6- 8hrs each day and I am going to experience leaving with locals and learn their traditions.



I am trying to raise money to help these children by providing pens, books, toys, food and anything else they need and will kindly ask that you also help me raise the money to help the children in Cambodia.
