This campaign is organized by IRebuild Africa which is a not-for profit organization based in Yaounde-Cameroon and has been existing since 2017. Our mission is to equip and empower women, the girl child with socio-economically so they can be financially self reliant and be able to buipd their future and that of their kids. We believe when a woman is empowered, a nation is empowered.
Hence this campaign isto help 5 single mothers in the Yaounde-Cameroon set up businesses which can help them provide basic needs for their children after they lost their jobs.
Schools, daycare centers and other institution shutdown as a result of the outbreak of the COVID 19 pandemic. This has had an ugly turn on single mothers as some who worked at day care centers and janitors in schools were laid off. With no salaries these single mothers can barely provide basic needs like healthy food, warm clothings, hand sanitizers and detergents for their children.
The $1000 dollars raised will be used to train them on wealth creation skills like food processing and detergents and a start up capital which can be used at home and marketted to provide their basic needs. With these they are sure of providing food, warm clothings, health attention for themselves and their children.
