After quitting well placed legal practice and finding a passion and real interest of my life, I decided to do career as a life skills trainer. And, to move ahead by combining my interest in the social sector and career, I re-started my academic life with NMIMS, Mumbai as a student of MBA in social entrepreneurship. In this journey as I am learning a lot on various aspect about social entrepreneurship; to put the same learning into practicality I established a social enterprise, in the year 2014 under name and style of THE INSIDE YOU in life skills training industry to address EMOTIONAL BLOCKAGES of an individuals’ as a social issue. “Emotional blockages” is the issue which has close relation with me and my life. One of the major reasons behind selecting this as a social issue to address is, I find myself as a victim of emotional blockages at various phases of life. Knowingly and unknowingly I had lost many things including people and peace. After this I realize that solutions for the same are within me only. I deliberately started working on the solutions by going to root cause of the problems. This process was difficult but, it gave me lots of learning. I started changing myself by changing my thinking and action taking paradigm. This process started giving me insides to deal with situations and emotions. hence, It is a small effort to make people happy. Singapore International Foundation (SIF), is an organization based in Singapore; which brings world communities together to do good, and one of the ways they do this is through their Young Social Entrepreneurs(YSE) programme. It seeks to inspire, equip and enable youth of different nationalities to embark on their social enterprises to enrich lives and effect positive change for a better world. Through the YSE programme, participants learn from and interact with leading social entrepreneurs, business professionals and other youths who are keen on social innovation, while expanding their networks for potential collaborations and partnerships for good. I made an application to SIF to be a part of YSE programme. After their rigor process of scrutiny on 12th February, 2015; I got an email about my selection to be a part of the said programme. I believe it is going to be a full of learning opportunity for me as well as a platform for representing our country on national level as a social entrepreneur. Also it is a valuable occasion for pitching the idea at international level. I am sure it will give positive boost up to my career as a social entrepreneur. Currently I am not working anywhere and fully dedicated to develop life skill training model for the established enterprise and education of MBA in Social Entrepreneurship. Hence, my financial earning is nil. In my family there are three members (including me), a mother is a housewife and a sister working in the company. Thus, my sister is the only earning source in my family. In this situation, it would be difficult task for me to grab the said valuable opportunity without financial support. And, this is the purpose behind approaching to seek a travel grant; so that I can attend YSE programme in Singapore and get a chance to take a leap towards value addition in the society. Hence, you are humbly requested to please support me financially by accepting my application. I need a financial support for 1500 US$ only. said amount is require for the purpose of flights, food, accommodation, domestic traveling etc. So that I can attend a workshop and learned a lot to make more value addition in the society through my social enterprise.
