Support the Women's delegation to Rojava

A group of women are currently in Rojava on a solidarity visit. They were invited by the Foundation of Free Women in Rojava to meet with women's organisations in Rojava and spend International Women's Day with them.

Due to complications resulting from current blockade of Rojava by Turkey and the Kurdish Regional Government in Iraqi Kurdistan, and Turkey's intense attacks on Kurdish people within its borders, the delegation has had to cover some unexpected costs. We are trying to raise £500 to cover these extra costs.

We think that international solidarity is important with women's movements in Kurdistan struggling against patriarchy, fighting Daesh and resisting Turkey's military repression. Women's movements in Rojava have the capacity to truly transform society. We think that understanding and making connections with these movements is integral to building solidarity with these movements. That's why we'd ask you to help to cover the extra costs for the women's delegation.
