Campaign Story
The laughter and noise among children, the sounds of insects and birds in the mountains and forests, the whistle of cars on the road... these sounds that we take for granted are the "luxury goods" of some children. They are hearing-impaired children and they are God forgot the little angel who turned on the handset button.
"The arrival of Yanyan helped me fill up the most precious things in my life, gave me opportunities and directions, and let me grow up with her." Mother Yanyan said.
In the midsummer of 2018, our family welcomed the baby Yanyan in anticipation, but before the expectation and joy were warmed up, we found that Yanyan did not respond to the voice. After going to the hospital for various examinations, Yanyan was diagnosed as "extremely deaf in both ears." Looking at the diagnosis report, we were dumbfounded, how could this happen, the child is so cute, why it is her, and what should we do next. After many consultations, the doctor recommended that we wear hearing aids first, and then implant the cochlear implant as soon as possible. However, the cost of cochlear implants is high, plus the follow-up treatment and rehabilitation costs, which can cost hundreds of thousands or even hundreds of thousands, which is even more difficult for ordinary families like us. But for the future of the child, for Yanyan to be able to hear, everything is worth it.
