We're going to keep this train running!! We're increasing the goal to a lofty $10,000. That's huge, we know. But, it's looking like anything is possible!!!Update on the Goal but please also read below: Since this has grown so quickly, we are increasing the goal to $5,000. What a wonderful and clear picture of the impact these people have had on our lives. It's obvious they have a huge support network that wants to help!! The family has expressed their immense gratitude to EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU for your generosity and willingness to pray and send positive thoughts. This page is for the O'Brien family: Matt, Amber, their daughter and their newborn son, Declan. Via ultrasound, their son was diagnosed with a very rare brain malformation, called Vein of Galen, which impacts both brain and heart. This required baby Declan to be delivered early and undergo surgery very quickly. He will likely have many more surgeries over the next few days/months/years. Many of Amber and Matt's (a.k.a "Shrubs" as he's known to many of us) friends, family, and supporters have been wondering how they can help. We decided to set this page up as a way to feel that we can contribute during a very trying and difficult time for this family. In addition to contributing financially, continued prayers are a very real way to keep helping this family...at different times in our lives, we've all been witness to the power of prayer!! Amber and Matt, we're praying for you all and send our love!! <3
