Leila Polák, kyokushin karate competitor from Szeged, Hungary.

Among her best competition results:

• Twelve-time adult Hungarian Champion,

• Two-time junior European Champion,

• Has a total of 17 European Championship podium finishes,

• After 24 years, this year in 2023, she brought Hungary the title of the adult women's European Championship.

She brought home championship titles from many countries. For example, from the United States, Spain, the Netherlands, France, Germany, Poland, Bulgaria, Slovakia...

She won the title of "Best Spirit/Best Technique" of a competition several times.

She was not only a highly awarded competitor by the Hungarian Karate Association for several years, but also in 2019 she was the first karate player awarded with the title of "Sportsman of Szeged".

With her outstanding results, she qualified herself as one of 32 players for the Women’s World Open Karate Championship which is held every four years, and will be on November 17-19, 2023 in Tokyo.

To perform successfully, the expenses of the preparation at this level are really expensive and unfortunately her sports club does not have any sponsors.

Therefore, for her, all help means a lot, so we would like to ask for your support so that Leila can properly represent Hungary at the World Championships in Tokyo in November!
