In March 2011 the landslide that was triggered by a downpour buried three villages in the Budala district in Uganda. 51 people died and over 320 people were unaccounted for in one of the worst mudslide disasters to ever hit Uganda. This tragic event left 75 children orphans without anyone to care for them.
Since the government turned a blind eye, social worker Kenneth Weeleba has taken on the care of these precious children. Being an orphan himself, Kenneth understands the plight of these children.
Recently the rains came and destroyed the roof of the building where Kenneth had been housing the children. The children are homeless once more. Thanks to the NEW JERUSALEM MINISTRIES, the children are being housed in one of their church buildings. It is going to cost $2000 to repair the roof.
Please help these children by making a donation ~ Thank you and God Bless ♥
