Support Paonia Village Building Convergence!

The Village Building Convergence is returning to Paonia on May 18-19, 2018.

If you’ve seen the STREET MURAL by the Paonia Elementary School on 4th Street or the ART WALL in the alleyway by Elsewhere Studios on 3rd Street, chances are you’ve seen the Village Building Convergence (VBC)!

VBC is a creative placemaking project - a movement driven by the community for the community. VBC gives citizens the opportunity to breathe new life into public areas that need revitalization. VBC establishes a sense of place and tells a story about community values and the power of people working together to create something beautiful.

With most public art projects, maintenance and repair is necessary to ensure project longevity. VBC leaders are committed to prolonging the longevity of our projects. In order to do this, we are asking for your support and participation.

Please consider making a donation to the repair and maintenance of the Street Mural and Art Wall. Donations received will go to purchasing materials and supplies needed to rehabilitate these beautiful public art pieces.

Materials we need to purchase include: paint, paint brushes, plywood, two-by-fours, screws, jig saw blades, caulking, and silicone. Thank you in advance for your generous donation!

And, we hope you will join us in Paonia, Colorado on May 18-19 for two fun-filled days of work and celebration.
