Support our Family’s 2nd Battle Against Cancer

Our family (General family from Naga City, Philippines) started our fight with cancer last 2013 when my father was diagnosed with Lymphoma. His battle lasted for almost 8 months and during that time, we exhausted our personal funds. Due to this time of crisis in our lives, we were left with a few donations for just the burial and other expenses. Fortunately, my mother and I still had our careers and we slowly started to recover. By April 2015, our fight with cancer started anew when my mother, Lina Aguilar-Generalwas diagnosed with Stage 4 Right Renal Carcinoma (Kidney Cancer). Like my father, she is undergoing aggressive and continuous treatment. For the past year and so, we have been in and out of the hospital and my mother was even at the brink of death twice due to heart failure.

As my parents’ only child, I have been assuming all financial responsibilities. While I am combining all of our personal funds (my salary, my mom's pension and loans), keeping up with the bills has been difficult. With this, I am humbly appealing for donations to help us in our battle.

Any help will be greatly appreciated and will certainly be a great contribution to lifting the burden of Mama’s continuous medical expenses.
