Following in my brother Smilyan's footsteps, instead of receiving gifts for my birthday this year I am reaching out to help gather 500 EUROS of funding for the home for orphans in the mountain village of Yakoruda in southern Bulgaria.
You can find more about my brother's previous fundraisers on his page here: https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/smilyan-pavlov
I will be cycling some 200 kms from the capital city Sofia to the village to personally hand in the money, every bit of which will go directly to support the kids in various aspects of their life including education, clothing, food, entertainment, Christmas gifts, etc. I will also compile a video of the trip and the kids for you to watch.
For every person that specifies their name on the donation, I will write that name down and include it with the money so that the kids know that this is not one person's effort but that there are many people across the globe that care to support them.
Any amount can be of tremendous help. Bulgaria is one of the poorest countries in Europe, mostly in the countryside. On top of any funds raised by November I myself will add an additional 200-300 EUROS to the final amount and be on my way to deliver it personally.
Thank you all
