Hey Human Beings around Mother Earth!

I'm Gina (picture was taken at Lost Lake in Alaska - the most amazing place I've ever been!!! - in 2013), born in Hungary, living in Slovenia for the last 4 years - because I love it and I feel home here. I'm a nomad on the other hand. Spent 2016 and 17 (from March till October, coldest night was -5 C°, but I love cold air!) in a tent trailer and was the greatest 2 years in my life about accomodation. :-) Hopefully next year she'll be my home again, but at Lake Bohinj. Fingers crossed!

For the last 5 years I do just volunteer jobs (except this Summer, I was working as I wanted to stay for free at my love, Lake Bohinj), live from my savings (collected in NYC, US, working as a cleaner, best job in my life!!!!). I live pretty simple life. Other than being the lately fancy digital nomad, I'm an analog one. :-)

So I don't have a smartphone either. Now, I'll be involved as volunteer in fundraising campaigns for two amazing foundation. To be more effective, help to be around (going to physical volunteer projects like creating permaculture gardens in Slovenia and Hungary, helping / learning at a great nursery garden, supporting friends and strangers as an amateur life-coach, collecting garbage on the side of the road, in mountains, etc...) and still available for these projects, a smartphone would be a great help. I'm strictly aware of what is going on behind the scenes of the products, so I can't buy any other than Fairphone. Now it's even cheaper, because of a special discount. 399€. Yipppyyyy!

My other occupancy is learning, learning, learning - to grow and to spread. There is Art of Hosting movement (creative, humane and effective facilitating and leadership) and they offer a 4 days training in February. The cost is not published yet, but one of the organizer is my lovely friend and she mentioned the previous one, so I could count with that. This is one of the cheapest option to do it around the Globe. I decided to do it - it'll help my amateur life-coach occupation and my personal growth. This training would help my personal growth and as now I'll work with big group of people (that is quite a challenge as I grew up in a society where this has no culture at all!) and have a chance to spread amazing knowledge, methods of organizing groups' life. 410€ with travelling cost (I love hitchhike and I always pick up hitchhikers, this Summer I started to teach my little 5 years old nephew about it, it was so much fun, but as my home at the moment - a friends' empty house on the border of Slo and Hungary and the location of the training is hardly could be covered like that, I have to take the car - also my friends' one as I don't have any).

Some details about the foundations that I plan to support with my time, talent (was born with it... thanks God) and effort - so with supporting me, you also support them, what an amazing flow, right?

The first is "touchable" foundation that is based on a pottery school for blind and visually impaired people that now also try to create working places for these heartesses and heartists - new words instead of "simple" artist, for me, every art is coming from heart and I'd love to live in a word that is less man oriented - I'm not a feminist at all, I'd love to live in balance - verbally, so if there is artist, there must be also artess. They have a workshop, but they have to move and even they've got a new place, it needs fully renovation - a painting and cleaning process wouldn't be enough, campaign starts soon to collect the money for this renovation, please keep an eye on their website or facebook page (the video about their dream workshop!). I'll organize their campaign here, the preparation is in process! See their products on my newly started blog post. Aren't they beautiful? This is what I also meant about being a heartist. These people can't see what they've created, still are soooo beautiful for my seeing eyes.

The other foundation is Social Point Foundation that was launched in 2016 by 3 amazing people. Their main focus is to support children living in state institutions (unfortunately most of the children who gets out of their family, raised in big, inhuman institutions, not in small family houses within a form of a family - teachers and nurturers try to do their best, but it's not enough without outsider support) and homeless / families in poverty. Their motto is: DON'T FORGET! We are the society, so the responsibility is ours. Probably for French people it does not need to be said, but Hungarian society is pretty much behind with civil movements. At the moment they have 127 volunteers working to keep running this dream. They were the founder of a food-box movement around the country (install these boxes where citizens can add any kind of food, and people in need take it - homeless and poor families). Now we'll start fundraising campaigns (I decided to be involved in it for the next 2 years, basically I'll be the organizer, doer, harvester, everything of these campaigns) that supports these institutes and another one that will raise money to support hospitals' children department with different materials to save more life or be more effective in healing (ex: the biggest children emergency room in Budapest - city with 2 million people + outskirts with another half a million - has no ultrasonic machine - I'm not sure about the proper word for it in English, I and other lovely people find this situation pretty strange. We don't have 30.000€ to buy one, but we can give our time and effort to fundraise it. So this is what we'll do.).

Their very last campaign was initiated by a citizen who faced the fact that his wife had to sleep on the floor - or on a chair - next to their child in the hospital. So he started the campaign and the foundation helped with organizing and shipping 300 beds into hospitals around Hungary to help mothers sleep like a normal human being next to their child. This picture is from Gyor, where they gave 25 such beds. I have goosebumps when I hear such stories and I really want to support with whatever I can an initiative like this.

If you feel that what I'm doing is worth to be supported, please do it. Any amount counts! The tiny little ants are 20% of the whole Planet's animal biomass... Quite amazing, right?

I'll keep you updated after I've raised the amount needed and show you my new tool to continue my volunteering and pictures about the training I'll join with your support. Thanks a lot!

As a gift, I'd like to share one of my favorite video that shakes me up when I'm down...

YOU ARE AWESOME! WE ARE ALL!
