Support my dream business invention

My name is Moses Otieno from Nairobi,Kenya a young graduate with a Diploma in hospitality management. My passion and dream has always been to plan and organize events such as weddings, birthdays, graduation parties and corporate events. I started having the desire all the way from my child hood when I could organize family gatherings,meetings as well as cool and serve them. My relatives knew and would inform me prior Incase there were to be an event in the family. I enjoyed it alot, the talent also manifested when I could decorate our house and leave it wide open for neighbors to admire😄😄 I would clean, arrange and dress the house very nicely everyday.

Growing up, I never gave up. I still believed that I had to achieve that dream and always prayed 🙏 for it to come through. In 2018 I started small by offering free catering service for my cousin who was wedding, they participated in purchasing food stuff and I did the catering and serving part, it was a great achievement since guests were happy and satisfied according to the reviews I received. This motivated me more💪💪 and yearned to work extra hard so as to buy my own stuff. I would cook in funerals, traditional weddings,house calls and get paid, this sustained me by paying for my bills and studying event management so as to gain more professional experience.

Sometimes it has been more struggle having a client who wants a wedding decorations with equipments such as tents,tables, linens,seats etc forcing me to hire from competitors who on the other hand charge very hire, therefore making your potential customers to find rates abit high due to the mark up rate, sometimes they steal your customers, this has been very inconveniencing. I'm not able to realize my profit since 90% of the service charge goes to hiring of these equipments. This has really slowed my dream of succeeding in my business. I've ended up failing some customers because the suppliers won't deliver equipments on time to the venue, some are not in good condition,sometimes I lack enough funds to hire, sometimes they over charge. This has been very devastating though I promised myself never to give up.

With me being the only family bearer and with many responsibilities for taking care of my siblings I've not been able to save,you know when you're everything from food,school fees etc you can save and again with unstable business. It has been extremely hard during pandemic as no events were taking place due to the government restrictions on social gatherings.

I'm therefore reaching out for support inorder to purchase my own event equipments such as tents,catering tables, chairs,linens etc. I'll appreciate any sort of donations kindly.
