Support my classical piano study

Greeting to everyone. My name is Julien and I am studying to be a professional pianist. And I would like you to support my classical piano study here in Jerusalem. Music has always been my expression of spirituality. If there is a purpose for this life span on earth, I would like it to be blessing and healing people on this planet, through my pair of hands. Simply to add a drop of beauty to this great big world.

Music has always been the open window for me to breath in beauty and love since I was 7, the time that I first began to be in contact with piano. We, human beings, are all in some degree of damage and incompleteness. From the pain that we inherit since the dawn of mankind, lead to our deficient of love - which is the source of our unhappiness. It manifests as all kind of tragic phenomena in our world. It is a journey for me to find the solution towards my own unhappiness and that of mankind. I left my home, Hong Kong, when I was 18, and went to study cinema in Beijing. Then, I was in contact with great souls of our world like Ingmar Bergman and Andrei Tarkovsky, Marquez and Dostoyevsky. Their investigation towards human suffering put me into an interrogation - what is my role in this world?

On my way of finding the universal remedy, i traveled around the world and listened to different stories, in order to prove a premise - that everything single human being does share something in common in their core. I believe that the answer lies beneath this very thing that connect all of us. So my observation is that behind the facade of all of us, deep down we all long to be truly adored, to really feel loved. And the pain stems from the absence of love mutates into different kind of psychological complex. The summation and accumulation of this constant agitation of every individuals manifests as all kind of malformation in our human society. So in order to heal us from our collective disease, it is crucial to rectify the cause in the root level, which is to love ourselves. Self-love is the ultimate remedy for the mankind. Only when one start to truly love one's own self, then one can start helping other - Not to be others saviour, but to eliminate one's emotional pollution to the surroundings, then to shine through others to let them easier to love themselves. And from my own experience, I find music can break down the defense of man. It takes off people's armor and softens their heart. Good music leads people to the gate of heaven. For instance, how can a person not instantly transform into spiritual ecstasy in the end of the grand finale of Mahler's Resurrection? Or i believe even the most stony heart can be soften by the second movement of Schubert last piano sonata.

My mission of this life, is to open hearts through this pair of hands. After years of traveling, i came back to piano and this clearly to me is the path. I have a great professor here in the music academy in Jerusalem. Currently I need 8000 shekel more for tuition of this year and 2000 shekel monthly for basic living expenses in order to continue my study here. I express my greatest gratitude for your support.
