Support Me For My Master Degree In Computer Science

My project

The amount I am hoping to raise is what is left for me to pay for my tuition fees for my Master’s degree (MS Computer Science) at the University of Pakistan (total amount is $5500). Please, keep reading to find out more about me and my vision.

Who am I?

My name is Waqas Qamar. I am a 27-year old man from Pakistan. I am a traveler, I love to meet new cultures and places while traveling. I am a computer scientist, I have graduated from the Department of Computer Science and Information Technology, Mirpur University of Science and Technology (MUST), Mirpur AJ&K. (www.must.edu.pk ) my previous CGPA of Bachelor Degree is 3.20/4.00, and I am currently looking into specializing in the field of Software Engineering. I see myself as a person who is very ambitious, driven and highly motivated to try new things. I am an avid photographer as a hobby in my spare time which is why I love to explore and learn about new places.

My story

“When you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it” said Paulo Coelho and I wholeheartedly believe that doing my MS Software Engineering in National University, my personal goal, will be fulfilled. For as long as I can remember, I have wanted to pursue a career in Software Engineering, an interest that was stimulated during my studies at the Department CS & IT at the Mirpur University of Science And Technology, Mirpur. In my effort to expand both my academic and professional knowledge, I reached the conclusion that Software engineering is the sector that deeply interest me. Furthermore, having been a volunteer for many years, I am aware of the difficult task of software development life cycle that I have faced during the final year project of Bachelor degree at MUST University. I was led to the realization that I need to combine my career aspiration with my personal beliefs. However, the department I graduated from specializes in computer science, a fact which poses a limit. This limitation I resolved to turn into my motivation and this software engineering is the key to investing in my own potential.While visualizing my future career, I realized that I am willing to engage in software development from multiple angles as I believe it is a powerful tool which should be used wisely for the benefit of society. Therefore, my firm career plan is to join this industry of professionals and pioneer in MSCS with software development tools. I was therefore directed to my choice of completing my Postgraduate studies in Software engineering at national University of and obtaining in-depth academic knowledge.

Where will the money go?

The amount I am trying to raise is the exact amount that of my admission and tuition fees. The total amount of my tuition is 2500£. Unfortunately, the money that I am constantly raising will just be enough for my pocket money, book and print expenses, stationary etc. Furthermore, while attending my studies I will have to work part-time in order to make ends meet. This is the reason why I am asking for 2500$, so I will be sure that I can at least afford my tuition and admission fees in total. If things take off and I raise more money than targeted, it will go into the budget of my graduation research, 2^nd, 3^rd and 4^th semester fees.
