Support Georgey for impacting Indian Startup Ecosystem via Draper University Summer Program 2017

Greetings Do-gooder!

Hi, I am Georgey P Jacob. I am an Electronics Engineering graduate and a hardcore startup guy from India. An Engineer by Education and an Entrepreneur by Expectation. My life goal is to assume as much knowledge & experience regarding startup industry to moulding myself for a promising startup. And for that I have been knocking and banging many doors for getting a good exposure.

This stride got me the opportunity of a lifetime, an admission to 'Draper University Summer Program 2017' . I have got an opportunity to explore the US Startup ecosystem. I feel like my dreams are coming closer. But I need your whole hearted support and financial help to accomplish this dream. The tuition fee for the program is around $12000 (Rs.7,81,680), which is a pretty huge amount for a person like me.

My Previous Strides:

I was volunteering for IEEE(the worlds largest technical professional organisation) for the past 4 years as well as for Angelhacks for their hackathon in Kochi. I was also a finalist in Rajasthan government IT Day Hackathon among 1000 Participant teams. I have also volunteered for INKTalks(Indian Version of TEDTalks). I have done 2 internships in startup companies in India. I was an intern for Byjus the learning app, the company invested by Mark and Pricislla - as the business development associate. I was also an intern for an early stage startup company, Merclain Technologies, while I was doing my gradutation. Hence I was pushing myself beyond the limits to give a good contribution towards the startup industry. As of now I have got some learning from Indian Startup Ecosystem, but I am more eager to learn about the global startup ecosystem. And I believe DU can full this life goal.
