Support Madhuri Kunja Ashram in Lithuania

Dear Friends from all around the world,

On behalf of our bhakti yoga community, we are reaching out for the financial support.

At the end of 2019, we were supported with donations from the community members to establish the ashram in the regional park in Lithuania. We are practicing the art of service, aspiring to live life in a non-violent, gentle, supportive and spiritual way, helping those around us along the way. Here a small group of devoted community members serve daily by maintaining the property, studying and translating spiritual scriptures, serving Deities, distributing vegetarian food and practicing meditation. We have also established a healing center led by professionals in the fields of medicine, astrology, psychology, music therapy, who are providing mental and emotional healthcare for the local area.

Ashram property consists of community land, two houses and a humble shed for two baby cows, whom we have saved from a slaughterhouse last week. We live by the principle of ahimsa, which is a non-violent approach towards life and all the living entities. As we happily serve our newest family members, we are also faced with financial issues, due to the unexpected global crisis caused by Covid-19.

Together with humanity, we are experiencing the unknown.

The virus has dramatically changed the lives of our community members. Many of us have completely lost our modest incomes that were a lifeline to the temple. As we are no longer able to financially sustain the ashram, we are kindly asking for your financial support.

The collected donations will be used for:

• Paying off the loan to the bank.
• Maintaining the calves and finishing the construction of the cowshed;
• Heating and maintaining the temple through the winter;

As the end of the year is approaching, we are preparing to face another major challenge. On the 21st of December, during the Solstice, planets Jupiter and Saturn will conjunct, following an Eclipse. Such unfavorable astrological transition of the planets is extremely rare and for most of us will probably happen only once in our lifetimes. To pray for protection and peace we will be participating in a fire ritual - Yagya, during which we will offer prayers to Vedic Deities, asking them to relieve us from bad karma. During the fire sacrifice we will also purify and energetically charge rudrakshas that are believed to be tears of God Shiva. It is believed that if a person wears rudraksha, he or she is protected from all the negative effects of the planets. Also, rudrakshas help one to overcome difficult times, family problems and personal hardships.

5 mukhi rudraksha is related to planet Jupiter and it mainly increases one’s own uniqueness, brings positive energy, spirituality, peace, good health, and mental strength. It has a huge ability to bring protection and is the symbol of auspiciousness among the family members. This rudraksha balances all the chakra points. It is believed that the people who wear five faced Rudraksha escape unfortunate death.

10 mukhi rudraksha protects the wearer from the negative effects of all planets and other evil energies. It helps the person to overcome difficult times, problems, hardship and to achieve success in life. This Rudraksha helps the wearer to move in the right direction of life. The wearer gets saved from all various kinds of danger. It helps to improve the business, market and job seeker can easily get different jobs. It gives the power to increase the six senses in human being and also provides peace and a calm mental state.
