Kioshi is a male Turkish Angora. Around the month of May (IIRC), we found him being fed leftover food by a friend outside of their house. He was quite skinny back then from now and his white fur was a bit stained with dirt. Still, his white fur and yellow & blue eyes left us awestruck for this type of breed is very rare in where we reside! He was so cute and adorable to the point we really, really wanted to take him in!

Unfortunately, he was left abandoned by his previous owner(s). We heard this from our parents' friends. I think they also said there were other more like him too, but we never spotted one. His previous owner(s) had to leave and return to their country for some reason, and they couldn't bring him. They said he comes very often to be fed and have been walking around houses or streets. Me, my older sister and little brother forced our parents to let us bring him home. We really have never kept walking pets, only pet fishes. They were reluctant at first but they finally agreed and we were really excited! We brought him home and placed him in a very big cage so he wouldn't escape and until he becomes comfortable with us. And so, we fed him food and water, cleaned his pee and poop (we were totally 'ewww), gave him a bath and most definitely, lots of petting! We then became his new owners! He's also quite fat now, maybe we've given him too much food? So my dad made a small room near the garden and placed him there. Sadly, he wasn't allowed inside the house because of the rules in our rented home.

Just a few months ago, Kioshi suddenly started to smell really foul and he was drooling a lot! We even gave him a bath. I looked it up online and maybe the reason this happens to him is dental pain. But he wasn't crying out, he was always silent and he became skinny. But the fact that he might be in pain worries us a lot and what might ever happen if it gets worse. He really had to be taken to a vet, but there were no vet hospital near us. The nearest vet hospital I searched online is at least 3-4 hours away from where we live. We realized that Kioshi needs to be treated, microchipped, vaccinated and groomed, but we don't know where to get the money to pay for the medical expenses and it's very costly here! Our own budget was only enough to buy him food and small toys. Just as our older sister had to go back to our country, Fundraising came to our minds as an idea and I've looked for some Fundraising websites but some of them don't support some countries like in this country. Just after a few weeks though, Kioshi's foul smell began fading until it was completely gone! He began eating more and have become more active! We were glad he wasn't on pain anymore, and we really don't know how it healed up! Everything was fine until just 2-3 weeks ago, Kioshi's other eye had something white and gooey all over. We kept cleaning it until it was gone but there were tears in his eyes and the skin around his eyes were pink. I looked it up online too and it was exactly Conjunctivitis. We couldn't bring him to the vet again either... I continued searching for fundraisers but I was always busy with school work and I couldn't finish. But his all ok now, once again it healed up!

But this doesn't mean we're just going to leave him like that! I'm going to setup our online fundraiser so that in case something happens to Kioshi again, we could have enough money for the vet hospital and bring him there! ! We also decided to send him to our older sister in our country if we ever have enough money to get him a license/certificate, passport, plane ticket or whatever things that are required! I'm also going to live there next year. The environment there is quite better than in here, plus there would be a vet near so that he could have checkups and if in case of emergency when something happens to him. We don't know how much longer we are capable of living here as my dad is working very hard to provide for us. We don't want to leave him again like his previous owner!

What we plan to do with the money you donate: With my father's help, we are to spend it thriftily on Kioshi's needs, health and wealthcare. We are going to get him registered, micro-chipped, vaccinated and definitely groomed! We also want to buy him better food, accessories, toys, etc! If there is still enough money, we're going to get him papers/documents and passport so that he can become eligible to be sent outside the country!

I know there are a lot of generous and caring people here, so please, please, please support and donate to us! We really appreciate no matter what amount you give us! I don't really spend time with Social Media so please help us also by sharing us in any Social Media apps you have!

I will be making a Facebook page for Kioshi soon so there will be updates and more pictures soon!

Forgive me if my grammar has been awful! It's not my native language. :)

Btw, that's me and my older sis in my profile pic.
