Campaign Story
My little warrior, Kevin was diagnosed with wet FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis), which was considered a fatal disease until recently, when an experimental antiviral drug was successful in treating cats in a clinical study.
Kevin is only six months old. He has a whole life ahead of him. He has been sick more or less the entire time. He has never really gotten to be a kitten. I couldn't let him die knowing that there was a chance.
The treatment costs a lot, around 2000 – 2500 USD, depending on the cat's weight, but it's the only drug that can cure this terrible disease.
So far we managed to get part of the vials needed for Kevin, but we will need more in order to finish the 84 days of treatment.
He hates getting his shots, but they are helping him so much ….he now RUNS again…He is so full of energy and so playful!!! Seemingly perfect in every way! Eats drinks plays and seems amazing! He is a wonderful warrior and I am very proud of him!
