Hi! my name is Princess Pamela Timbas. My family deeply needs financial assistance for my brother JOHN PATRICK TIMBAS for his dialysis treatment. He’s been recently diagnosed with kidney failure, stage 5.

Chronic kidney disease means you have an eGFR (Estimated glomerular filtration rate) less than 15.

An eGFR less than 15 means the kidneys are getting very close to failure or have completely failed. If your kidneys fail, waste builds up in your blood, which makes you very sick.

Both of my brother's kidneys are getting small and not functioning well. The doctor said that this developed since he was a child but there are no symptoms until 2018. My brother starts feeling uncomfortable in his abdominal area, getting picky on foods, looks pale and his feet swell. They went to the doctor for check up when my brother felt this symptoms, but the finding on him was only urinary tract infection. His condition stays the same, check-up and same findings until the first week of august 2020. My brother starts feeling unwell again. stomach ache, headaches, difficulty in breathing and vomiting. And one night he collapsed while with his friends and been sent to the hospital. As of today my brother is still the hospital, had three bags blood transfusion and the doctor already put a tube on his neck for the dialysis treatment. He already went through two dialysis since he's been hospitalized but it needs to keep going.

I am his elder sister and I am currently working abroad (in Malta) and my family is in the Philippines. I cannot fully give assistance for my brother’s dialysis treatment which will be three times in a week. One dialysis will cost 68.50 euro or 4,000 pesos. It will be a long term treatment for my brother who is only 24 years old and trying his best to fight and be strong in this battle.
