Hello, I am Jemuel Cuarto from Negros Occidental in the Philippines. I am undergraduate with a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from AMA Computer College and now planning to pursue my dreams to become a doctor and help others. I want to pursue my dreams and continue to become a doctor but due to financial issues, I can no longer pursue my studies.
Here's my story:
When I was a child, I always dreamed of becoming a doctor. However, because of financial situation of my family, my dream to become a doctor became a bit blurry. My father was a laborer and my mother was a housewife. I have always seen that the importance of persevering my studies will help me to improve my goal and dream in life.
I grew up in a place where people lack of medical service and because of this problem, this may result to continous grow of death. My younger brother was died from Pulmonary disease and it was too late for him to recover because we are lacking of doctors and in our place need some doctor. Due to the cost of the healthcare in the Philippines and my family's financial situation, I have lost the important person in my life. These scenarios do not only happen here in the Philippines, but also in the other poor countries worldwide. I truly believe that if I can pursue my medical education, I know I can do something about it. If I were given a chance to pursue my education and become a doctor, I want to give my 100% medical services to those areas that cannot be reached by those kind of services and provide them some assistance.
Hopefully, I can use your help to make my visions come true! Thank you in advance! May God will always bless your soul!
