Support Education of Underprivileged Afghan Refugees in Turkey!
Afghan refugees who have fled their country due to ongoing war and conflict are among the 4+ million refugees living in Turkey. These refugees are the least privileged among other nationalities when it comes to attention and support from the government, especially support for higher education.
Unfortunately, Afghan refugees are not given enough opportunity for higher educations compared to other nationalities which has special privilege and access to higher education.
Although a considerable number of these refugees are young individuals with the potential to pursue higher education, most of them can't even speak the Turkish language, despite living more than for more than 1 - 2 years. This is because they didn't have the opportunity and support for learning the language and integrating in society.
Afghan refugees are hired for hard labors with minimum wages, they are neglected of their rights and often mistreated by their employers. And because they can’t speak the language, they even can’t complain to the police. Their stories remains unsaid and unheard.
This campaign is to support these underprivileged and helpless individuals and empower them to fight for their rights and have a better future. Thank you for your support!
