Since the diagnosis in September 2016, she has immediately commenced various medical treatment at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH) She has undergoe mastectomy, chemotherapy and radiotherapy. In addition, it is recommended that she receive 9 courses of IV Herceptin (Trastuzumab) with a view to mitigating the risk of metastasis. In addition, Funmi has also adopted radical lifestyle and nutritional changes.
